Who’s in the band and what do they play?
I make all the music. But SNEAKS is a walking collective representative of my friends & I.
When and how did you become a band?
In Early 2014 my guitar was stolen outside of my Mom’s apartment!
So I started using my bass and found my dad’s drum machine in his basement…
How did you decide on your band name?
The name SNEAKS had a certain “cha-ching” to it.
Tell us about your first show (ever and/or your first show with your current band)
It was at the Rocketship in Washington D.C. February 1st 2014. It was a really special day – I didn’t really know what I was doing but I knew I had to it.
Can you describe your music?
What can happen in under 20 minutes of fast-repetitive-motion?
What bands (or other things) are your influences/inspiration?
Goosebumps

I play a höfner galaxy bass & use a early 2000’s ashdown bass amp that has a nice roar.
Who are your favorite current bands?
I listen to a lot of break beat 90’s club music but recently have been into Le1f, The Garden & Barf Troop.
Tell us about your new record!
Gymnastics is the 7 songs that were on the tape I put out earlier this year + 3 new songs.
One song is not like the others. Danger Records in France offered to put it out & you should buy it.
What do you want everyone to know about your band?
Sneaks will be a constant surprise Stay tuned… bye!
