Beyonce is queen mother. I’m inspired by my city and my desire to win.

I always grease up right before. Gotta be shiny on stage!
Tell us about your first show.
I threw it myself! It was a 4/20 show at the griswold lofts. we called it the potluck thanks to my young homie Richard. We had to walk to the sixth floor, equipment and all and a lot of people showed up.
Does your gender identity/presentation influence your music? Has it presented any issues for you?
It definitely does! I love being a woman. I love being soft and hard and beautiful. I love being able to express my feelings with my words and not suppressing them. I love being in love and I won’t let hyper masculinity change that. Of course it brings issues, but what’s the point of focusing on that!
Gear talk! Tell us about your instruments/pedals/amps/drum set/recording set up.
Idgaf about gear. it’s always been me. at the end of the day I could sing in a room with no gear.
Who are your favorite Detroit musicians/bands?
James Linck. Britney Stoney. Flint Eastwood. Icewear Vezzo. Me.
What is your favorite song right now?
Addicted to flexing on my old hoes by m city jr. I’m late to the party with this one but I wholeheartedly agree with the sentiment.
What is your favorite way to unwind?
Going to the river.
What do you want everyone to know about you?
The only technology I’m versed in is my iPhone. When my laptop broke in 09 I never got it fixed. I’ve been left behind on technology but I can sing and write and that’s all I’ll ever need.
