Does your gender identity/presentation influence your music? Has it presented any issues for you?
OMG YES! Being a women in music, especially a DJ is so frustrating. I was playing the DIA the other day and everyone kept going up to the man who was next to me, not behind the turntables, asking him what HE was playing. I ignored it, cause you have to, but how insulting! It made it seem as if I could not have the talent or ability to pick such music for a crowd. This is very common tho. I have a monthly at the temple bar and that is the first place I’ve felt love and respect for my craft. I only am djing now because of Temple Bars love and my fellow women djs and male allies support. I wanted to quit so many items because it sucks to constantly have to prove yourself every time you stand on a stage.

What is your favorite way to unwind?
Lets be real here.. medical marijuana, sex, beach hopping and a ice cream 😉
If its a real shit show out there in the world, I like polishing my found petoskys and making jewelry out of them that have made up crystal woo stories.

I genuinely love you and I know how to make Interent.
Both of which, love and Interent, I think should be openly shared.
